Our Team
Meet Dr. Rachel Rosvold and Dr. Nicole Catrambone Schaffer, our Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists!
Both Dr. Rachel and Dr. Nicole are passionate about Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and Pelvic Floor Health. We believe there is more to every story and more to every person than the diagnosis code on a prescription. We treat YOU, not your diagnosis. We believe that common does not mean normal especially in women’s health or postpartum care. We each have had our own athletic and postpartum journeys and know what it’s like to be a patient. We look forward to being a part of your journey too!
Dr. Rachel Rosvold PT, DPT (She/Her)
Dr. Rachel earned her Doctorate from New York University, and received her Pelvic Floor Specialty training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has practiced on both the east and west coasts, including in New York, Connecticut, California, and Pennsylvania. She has become an expert in treating the whole person, working in all areas of physical therapy before finding her passion in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy.
After having her kids, Rachel experienced firsthand how important prepartum and postpartum rehab is for patients, and understands what it’s like to be on the patient-side of things. Rachel knows what it means to have Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and is passionate about promoting Pelvic Therapy to anyone with a pelvis — That’s you!
Rachel was a four-year, Division I athlete at Syracuse University and continues to love to hike, do triathlons, and run after her kids. When not treating patients or spending time with her husband and kids, she can be found outdoors reading a good book, baking or cheering on her beloved Phillies.
Dr. Nicole Catrambone Schaffer PT, DPT, cert MDT (She/Her)
Dr. Nicole earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University. She has spent more than a decade becoming a specialist in orthopedic and mechanical neck and back pain as an MDT Certified Clinician. After having two children and going through postpartum recovery herself, Dr. Nicole underwent postdoctoral training in Pelvic Floor Specialty Training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has fallen in love with her niche of helping pregnant and postpartum women recover and eliminate their pelvic and back pain.
As a former Division 1 Collegiate gymnast at Temple University, she understands returning to a healthy and active lifestyle is a challenge with today's healthcare systems. Nicole loves to continue to be active with her husband and two children traveling, hiking, and snowboarding. She also has a background in aerial circus arts, pole fitness, rock climbing, and was a former American Ninja Warrior contestant!
