Why don't you accept insurance?

Uplift Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is an out of network provider. At Uplift Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, we choose to operate as an out of network clinic, meaning we do not contract directly with insurance companies. This model allows us to offer a higher standard of care by focusing on what truly matters-your individual health needs- without the constraints imposed by insurance coverage. Insurance companies often dictate the length and frequency of treatment, limit the types of therapies that are covered and require extensive documentation. This reduces the time your therapist can spend on actual treatment, focusing instead on meeting administrative requirements.

Many insurance policies do not cover the full spectrum of pelvic floor conditions especially for preventative care or more specialized services, and patients will be stuck with a bill after treatment is complete from services not covered by insurance. By avoiding insurance limitations, we are able to provide longer, more personalized sessions, tailor or approach to your specific goals and use the most effective treatments without worrying about what is deemed ‘medically necessary’ by insurance providers. This flexibility leads to better outcomes and recovery. Although we understand that upfront costs may seem daunting, many of our patients find that they save money in the long run by receiving comprehensive care without hidden costs and limitations of insurance based treatments. Insurance often limits treatment options but we believe you deserve more.  We provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance and accept FSA and HSA payments. Every patient who has submitted superbill to their insurance has been reimbursed, although the amount of reimbursement depends on the insurance provider and plan.

How can I pay you?

We accept Cash/Checks on the day of service, Venmo, Zelle, and on our scheduling website Jane!
